Do you eat porridge or oatmeal in the US?

Or do you avoid it like the plague looking at it as something plain and disgusting?

Or maybe you like it but would like it to be a bit more appealing

Well today I will share with you what I do each morning and I really look forward to my porridge.

I just use water with the oats and stir it until it is starting to fix together. I then put in some rice/almond milk and keep stirring. This creates a creamy texture. It is important to make sure that the mixture doesn’t get too dry, Need to keep certain amount of liquid in the pot all the time

And voila there you have a very appealing and tasty bowl of porridge. I see it as a treat as it is very tasty and filling and so nutritious.

So give that a go and let me know what you think.

Motivational Quote of the Day

My incredible assistant Dee posted this image and quote on facebook

This is such an important quotation and I have learned of it’s importance in particular over
the past 3 years when I have endured the most difficult time of my life
when I nearly lost everything to now where I am living the life of my dreams
and achieving so many of my life goals.

So take a look at who you are surrounded by and if they serve you well.

Start surrounding yourself with positive like minded people -will be the most important
action you will ever take

Exercise Tip Of the Day

Concentrate on the muscle(s) you are working during a specific exercise and don’t
allow your other muscle groups to assist with the exercise.

When performing an exercise put your mind into that muscle and see it
contracting and stretching.  Really focus on feeling that isolated movement.
Using other muscles is just cheating and also dramatically decreases effectiveness

Nutrition Tip of the Day

Good news for all the ladies in particular!!

Eating dark chocolate lower blood pressure, increase good HDL cholesterol,
and lower nasty LDL cholesterol. Interesting fact: The Kuna Indians, who live
on islands near Panama, have little age-related hypertension. They also drink
more than 5 cups of flavonoid-rich cocoa a day.

Now be warned – dark chocolate – highest amount of cocoa possible. And not
talking about having bars of it. A few squares!!

Sorry to take from your excitement lol
